Okay so I’ve been thinking I this for a week or two and I’m going to try it. I’m cosplaying Yang twice at Megacon this year and I REALLY want to do her with a robot arm at least one of those days HOWEVER this is yet to be canon and we won’t be getting ANY new RWBY episodes before then to show us what’s going to happen to fix Yang. SO I thought about hosting a “Design a robot arm” contest and the winner will be the arm I make for my Yang cosplay for Megacon. Would you guys be interested in that? Like with Versatility (Clementine & Jane, TWD), I’m inspired to explore the dynamics of a relationship through dual-perspectives, bouncing back and forth to highlight the complexities of two people who’ve grown to care for each other through some rough shit.

Also like Versatility, expressing themes of guilt, angst, survivor’s guilt, self-hatred, and other negative, complex things like that – and how characters might find ways to deal with and move on from them, through each other. I do think that LiS’s other ending is the “better” ending (mainly because it was developed more), but this ending inspires me so much more to create.

Plus, I was really inspired by the nightmare sequence in the finale. Combined with my affinity for PriceField, it’s proving to be some satisfyingly dark romantic content to work with.

VISUAL NOVEL:

I have officially started work on a visual novel adaptation of this project…The first version has been released, and includes a tutorial and a fully functional version of chapter 1, though much of the art is still missing, as well as some sound.

VN progress: I’ve begin coding Chapter 2; I’ve done a lot of tweaks to Chapter 1 visually, but I’m still waiting on some visuals, plus I want to comb through the text a bit. The next update will contain a revised version of Chapter 1 and a prototype of Chapter 2. I plan to get that up in about a week or two.
