Is your enjoyment of the anime built purely on wheater KyoAni makes a leap like that, purely on the demands of Western viewers, just to satisfy you? How shallow are you?

listen, i never expected canon kumirei. i’m not that naive. what i was expecting was for them to maybe….not…..turn the story 180 degrees?? to maybe not fulfill a ship that has had virtually no screentime??? to, oh i don’t know, do something that made sense within the given narrative??? jesus christ. straight ships can look at each other for two seconds and you’re all over it but two girls spend twenty-four episodes having a crapton of romantic buildup and we’re the shallow and selfish ones?? 

i’m probably going to get more of these and i honestly don’t even care. it gives me an outlet. i’ve given in to the Discourse™ yell at me all you want.
